Brahma is one of the gods of the Hindu trimurti. The trimurti comprises the  three Hindu gods responsible for the creation of the Universe, maintenance  and destruction of the world. Brahma's  role was creation of the universe and all living creatures. Vishnu and Shiva are the other two gods. Vishnu is known as the  preserver of the universe, while Shiva is the destroyer  it in order to to have cosmic reincarnation.
